This basic conversational course is designed to enable adults to develop enough proficiency in the english language to communicate effectively in a monolingual environment. Because the emphasis of the course is conversational, the gramatical content represent an informal style of speaking and writing that is used by educated people in an informal situation. It is geared towards correct usage, intonation, and enunciation.
